- Different types of stone crushers have different characteristic and you can get the relevant knowledge from the specific introduction of each equipment.
Technology types of stone crusher
According to the role that stone crusher plays, we can roughly divide it into two categories:
A. crusher; B. mill
The crusher generally handles larger materials with fairly thick product size, which is usually greater than 8 mm. There is a certain gap between the crushing parts so that they won’t touch each other. Mill generally deal with the materials that is handled by coarse crusher with small particle size, which can be achieved to less than 1 mm, some individual mill even can be much finer. Media that the mill uses are steel ball, steel bar, etc.
According to crushing way and mechanical structural characteristic, stone crusher can be divided into five categories.
1, coarse jaw crusher: it relies on movable jaw plate periodically pressure to the fixed jaw plate to crush materials between the plates.
2, cone crusher: ore blocks lie between inside and outside cones; outside cone is fixed, inside cone does eccentric swing to crush the ore block between them.
3, roll crusher: ore blocks lie in the clipper seam between two oppositely rotating circular rollers, mainly undertake the continuous crushed role, also with the role of grinding stripping; toothed roller surface plays the role of chopping.
4, impact crusher: ore blocks are crushed by rapidly rotating moving parts.
5, mill: ore blocks crushed by impact and abrasive roles of the grinding media (steel balls, steel bars, gravel or mineral blocks) in a rotating cylinder.
