Stone crusher is widely used in mining, metallurgy, building material, railway, chemistry, waterpower and other industries. The common crushing process can be divided into coarse crushing, medium crushing and fine crushing, and the available stone crushing machines are also accordingly divided into coarse crusher, medium crusher and fine crusher. Jaw crusher is a kind of crushing machine which makes use of the extrusion and bending effects produced by two jaw plates to achieves coarse or medium crushing of the materials with different hardness. This crusher has many advantages such as simple structure, reliable operation and able to crush hard materials, so it is widely applied in ore beneficiation, building material, silicate, ceramic and other industries. Compared with cone crusher, jaw crusher has low investment, low content of rubbles in the final products and low production cost. Compared with hammer crusher, the wear-resistant parts have long service life, the production efficiency is high and the follow-up investment is small.
Gyratory crusher is a large-sized crushing machine which is used for coarsely crushing rocks and ores with different hardness and it uses gyratory movement of the crushing cone inside the cone cavity of the shell to squeeze, fracture and bend the materials. The upper end of the main shaft with crushing cone is supported in the bushing of the central beam, and the lower end is set in the eccentric hole of the shaft sleeve. When the shaft sleeve rotates, the crushing cone does eccentric swinging motion around the center line of the crusher. Its crushing movement is continuous, so the work efficiency is higher than that of jaw crusher.
Cone crusher shares the same working principle with gyratory crusher, but it just applies to medium or fine crushing. The requirement for the uniformity of discharging granularity in medium and fine crushing is generally higher than coarse crushing, so that a parallel region is set up at the bottom of the crushing cavity. At the same time, the rotating speed of the crushing cone needs to be accelerated so that materials are crushed for more than once in the parallel region. The discharging mouth of cone crusher is small, the non-crushing materials mixed in the feeding materials are more likely to cause accident and besides, medium and fine crushing has higher requirement for discharging granularity, so the discharging mouth must be adjusted timely after the lining plate was worn. Therefore, the insurance and adjustment device of cone crusher are more necessary than that of coarse crushing.
Roll crusher is a machine uses the friction of the roll surface to send materials to the crushing zone and crushes them with squeezing and splitting force. When used for coarse crushing or bigger crushing ratio is needed, teeth or grooves are made on the surface of roller to improve the fracturing effect. According to the number of the rolls, roller crusher is usually divided into single-roller, double-roller and multiple-roller crusher and it is suitable for the coarse, medium and fine crushing of coal, limestone, cement clinker, feldspar and other materials whose hardness is less than medium level.
