Rotary calciner kiln, a kind of building materials equipment, is mainly used for the heating and calcining of metallurgy, building materials, ores and other mineral materials, such as ceramic sand, bauxite, limestone, cement as well as refractories.
The production process of rotary calciner kiln includes the gas flow, fuel combustion, heat transfer and movement of materials. The function of rotary calcination kiln is to make the fuel realizes full combustion, the heat of fuel combustion can pass to materials effectively, a series of physical and chemical changes appear after the acception of the heat and to achieve the final form of the finished clinker. The revolving kiln, on one hand, is the combustion equipment and pulverized coal is in combustion in it to produce heat; on the other hand, it is the heat transfer equipment, and the raw materials absorb the gas heat to be calcined. In addition, sometimes, it is also the conveying equipment to deliver the raw material from the feeding end to the discharging end. Fuel combustion, heat transfer and material movement should be reasonably fit with each other so that the heat generated by the fuel combustion can pass to the raw materials in a timely manner when the raw materials pass through the rotating kiln to achieve the purpose of high-yield, high-quality and low-cost.

The rotary kiln is the main equipment for calcining cement clinker and it has been widely used in cement, metallurgy, chemical and other industries. The equipment consists of the cylinder, the supporting device, driving device, kiln end sealing device, combustion devices and other components. The rotary calciner kiln is a circular cylinder, which is installed slantly in the number of tugs. After the motor slows down, the cylinder do the rotary movement driven by the large gear that is driven by the pinion.
